Each session runs ninety minutes to two hours. Reserve with the $75 deposit — exact date and light window confirmed by the studio after booking.

Multi-generational family sessions

Grandparents, parents, kids — if you use a service animal, please contact us before your session so we can plan a safe and appropriate accommodation around the working cattle. Personal pets are not permitted on the pasture. Two hours so nobody is rushed — we’ll wander, wait for the right light, and shoot another round if the light keeps.

02 — Couple

Anniversaries, just-engaged, just-because

A short, slow walk through the pasture. Best near the long evening hours when the herd is calm.

03 — Engagement

Engagement & proposal shoots

Scout the proposal spot with you; surprise arrangements welcome; just give us a window to coordinate.

04 — Maternity

Maternity portraits

Soft-light portraits in the long grass with the herd at the right distance — a ninety-minute session designed around your pace, not a pose.

05 — Senior

Senior portraits

High-school senior portraits in the long shadow of the foothills — ninety minutes, one person in the frame, a setting that feels nothing like a studio backdrop.

06 — Individual

Solo portraits: brand, just-you

A 90-minute slot for one person in the frame — a personal-brand set, a single-portrait commission, or just a solo day in the long light. Same pasture, same long shadows, just you in them.

Before you book

What to expect at Moolady Photography

Just so you’re fully prepared: our sessions happen in a real, working cow paddock on the Montana foothills — not a manicured studio, not a posed set, not a backdrop you could fake anywhere else. That means you’ll be walking on the same ground the herd walks on, in weather we didn’t dress up. It also means the pictures come out like this place does. Concretely, it means:

  • MudDepending on weather, the ground can be soft or downright sloppy. Boots or shoes you don’t mind getting dirty are a must.
  • Cow manureIt’s a working farm — the Highland cows go where they please. Watch your step.
  • ThistlesThere are thistles in the paddock. Long pants and closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.

Come dressed for the outdoors — not a studio, not a city sidewalk, not the kind of afternoon you’d plan around a hair appointment. We recommend layers against a foothill evening, sturdy footwear over the uneven pasture, and a good attitude about a little mess. It’s part of the charm, the cattle don’t care about your shoes, and the pictures are always better when you’re comfortable enough to forget the camera is there.
